A note on the original post. I fear as time passes the context for the original post will be forgotten and the meaning of the background will be missed. The empty book shelves in the classroom are a reminder of the rampant book banning at the time, which is still ongoing. And the Pro and Con chart on slavery is a reminder of when MAGA said that slavery was a benefit to the enslaved since many learned a trade.
