Calculate the sum<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-1351\" src=\"https:\/\/josmfs.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Number-of-Beast-Equation.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"41\" srcset=\"https:\/\/josmfs.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Number-of-Beast-Equation.jpg 546w, https:\/\/josmfs.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Number-of-Beast-Equation-300x47.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 260px) 100vw, 260px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">__________<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It has a non-calculus solution, but that involves a bunch of manipulations that were not that evident to me, or at least I doubt if I could have come up with them. I was able to reframe the problem using one of my favorite approaches, power series (or polynomials).
